The Early College of Arvada meets students where they are now and customizes an individualized pathway based upon their individual strengths and weaknesses.

ECA has successfully accelerated students through college classes and project-based learning as well as closed academic gaps through our Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS Program) and EL Supports. This allows us to help our Gifted and Talented and High Achieving students to develop their areas of passion.

In addition, our teachers use the Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol (SIOP Model) for EL learners as well as varying research-based approaches to instruct students, engage them to maximize academic progress and build life-long learning skills.

Our Special Education programs are intended to be inclusive and adaptable to allow students to make the greatest use of their unique strengths and passions. The staff also teaches them how to overcome challenges while opening opportunities for life-long skills and career successes.

At ECA, we focus on the whole child to ensure that they not only receive academic support but that they also discover Social-Emotional Learning and College and Career Readiness pathways tailored uniquely to their future hopes and aspirations, including a variety of career options and opportunities to inspire options and post-secondary directions.
