Karen Claypool

Profesor de educación especial

My name is Karen Claypool and I began teaching intervention classes in 2002.  I have a Bachelor’s of Arts in English, Liberal Arts and a minor in Special Education from the University of Northern Colorado. I also have a Masters Degree in Severe Affective Disorders from the University of Northern Colorado. Along the way I have received endorsements in the areas of Generalist K- 12 as well as a Secondary endorsement. I have had the pleasure of working with Significant Support Needs students as well as an Interventionist with secondary students.
I have a husband who is originally from the east coast. We have two children that will both be in high school this year, and a dog named Biscuit. I enjoy reading, crafting, and watching docuseries.
I am excited to start the new school year as a Griffin and I look forward to getting to know you!
