About Me

My name is Charles Nuttall. This will be my 7th year teaching math, though my first year teaching math at The Early College of Arvada, and I am very excited to be given the opportunity to work here. I graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in mathematics and am an avid CU sports fan (Go Buffs!) After college, I wasn't sure what career path I wanted to pursue. After working at a radio station, KBCO, I decided to switch directions and teach. I have a 3-year-old son who is my pride and joy. This summer, we went to the zoo, rode some trains, hung out at the pool, and many other activities. In my spare time, I like to go boating, skiing, or just enjoy the Colorado air.

Why I Teach

Teaching, to me, is the most rewarding career. It gives me a change to offer students support and guidance to be successful throughout the rest of their lives. As an instructor, it is my responsibility to not just help students understand a topic, but also show them where it is used in everyday life. I plan to teach for many more years and continue to improve myself every day.
